It seems please doesn't work...
If you remember my post of Jan 10th I asked for it to please stop. It seems that please doesn't work in certain cases. I'm not going into detail but another person close to me has died. I knew it was coming and, I know that it was a blessing as her passing was quiet and without pain, but that doesn't make it any easier to handle.
She was a loving, funny, wonderful woman, that if we had met at a different time in both our lives, we might have had something more than the comfortable friendship we developed. She was a truly unique soul and I will miss her smile and warped sense of humor for a long time to come. My world is a little darker for her passing. Knowing her, however she would smack me on the arm, smile at me, and say..."OK, be sad for a little while but then remember the laughter and raise a glass for me every once in a while. Don't mourn my passing, celebrate my life."
The next glass is yours sweetie. Rest hon. Go back to your true love. You two will be together forever now.
